2018 PayTrain Product Launch: April 24th
As most of you probably know, the new U.S. tax legislation is now in effect. As a result, several forms and publications need to be modified and incorporated into the 2018 PayTrain products to ensure they reflect the tax reforms.
The IRS has not yet released the publications and forms (1494, W2, W3, W4, 941, etc.) that impact payroll calculations, rules and regulations referred to within the products. APA has requested that we move to a later launch date to make necessary updates to the online and reading content in order to produce a high quality, accurate, 2018 products. The new launch date is set for Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
Marketing Tools and Tips
Now that the tax reform is in effect, it’s an important time for payroll professionals to update their knowledge and skills. This means an increase in the potential market for your PayTrain classes. Update your course descriptions and marketing to let prospects know that your course materials reflect the tax reform legislation.
This is a great time to use your APA mailing list to send a postcard promoting your class. An updated template is available on PRC. Contact your Regional Manager if you have any questions on how to access your list.
APA Monthly Emails
Each month, APA sends out a marketing email to their members promoting all upcoming PayTrain College & University courses. Your course sessions must be entered in PRC or the emails will not be sent to prospective students in your area. Courses starting in the ensuing five months are included, so enter your information early to get maximum exposure for your program.
APA’s marketing sends prospects to the PayTrain College & University listings on learnpayroll.com. Remember to regularly check your contact information and URL to make sure it’s up to date.
